1. Product and operator
MusicMall Vinyl is developed and operated by Wily, an independent individual developer. In this policy, “MusicMall,” “we,” and “our” refer to Wily as the operator of MusicMall Vinyl. MAXCOAPP is the website and navigation branding and is not represented as a company, registered trademark, or separate legal operator.
2. Android Public edition
This policy covers the Android Public edition. It is designed for local, offline-first use. The current Public build has no Google Drive integration, Google OAuth scope, or Android Internet permission. It cannot browse, stream, or download files from Google Drive.
3. Media and folders you choose
You can choose audio files or folders through Android’s system file picker and storage access framework. MusicMall receives access only to the files or folders you select and other locations Android makes available to the app. It cannot scan private folders belonging to other apps or unrestricted areas of your device.
MusicMall may read supported audio metadata and associated artwork, LRC lyrics, vinyl-label images, booklet images, and locally selected Discover video so it can create and display your library.
4. Data stored on your device
MusicMall stores library records, stable source references, titles, artists, album and track order, Side A / Side B assignments, favorites, vinyl colour, playback state, selected language, and related preferences in app-private storage. It may also keep app-managed artwork, lyrics, booklet pages, thumbnails, and offline media needed for reliable display and playback.
Temporary images and media information may be cached. Android normally prevents other apps from reading MusicMall’s private storage.
5. No media upload
The Android Public edition does not upload your music, artwork, lyrics, booklets, Discover videos, filenames, or library database to Wily or a MAXCOAPP server. It does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
6. Feedback and problem reports
When you choose Send Feedback or Report a Problem, MusicMall opens your email application with a draft addressed to [email protected]. Nothing is sent until you review and send the message yourself. The draft can include information you enter and optional device or app details shown to you for troubleshooting. Do not include passwords, private media, or sensitive personal information.
Email service providers process the message and may forward it to a mailbox managed by the independent developer. The private forwarding address is not published. Support messages are used to answer questions, investigate issues, and provide assistance. They are retained only while reasonably necessary for those purposes and applicable legal obligations, and are not used for advertising, tracking, or selling user data.
7. External links
Privacy Policy, Support, TikTok, Instagram, and other external links open in a browser or their respective application. Those services process information under their own policies. MusicMall does not control their collection practices.
8. Album deletion and source-file safety
Deleting an album removes its MusicMall library records and app-managed offline assets that are exclusively owned by that album. Assets still referenced by another retained album are preserved. MusicMall does not delete original files in user-selected folders, Android MediaStore, or other external storage locations.
Removing a Discover artist can remove its app-private Discover records and app-managed local copies. It does not delete the original source folder or media you selected outside MusicMall.
9. Retention and deletion
Your library and preferences remain on the device until you remove content using available MusicMall controls, clear the app’s storage in Android Settings, or uninstall the app. Clearing storage or uninstalling normally removes MusicMall’s private database, preferences, cache, and app-managed media from that device. Original external source files remain untouched.
10. Users upgrading from an earlier Drive-enabled build
An in-place upgrade from an older Drive-enabled MusicMall build may retain local library metadata and previously downloaded offline files so the user does not lose playable content. The Public edition cannot use retained credentials to contact Google Drive and does not restore remote access. Remote-only items remain unavailable.
Removing the app’s local records or files does not automatically revoke an authorization grant previously given to Google. If you previously connected MusicMall to Google Drive, review and revoke the old connection from your Google Account’s third-party connections page. MusicMall Public does not perform Google authorization or revocation.
11. Security and backup
MusicMall uses Android app-private storage and source-aware identifiers to separate library items and protect app-managed files. Backup exclusions prevent media and Drive-derived legacy data from being treated as ordinary cloud-backup content. No system can be guaranteed completely secure; protect your device and its screen lock.
12. Children’s privacy
MusicMall is a general-audience music application and is not directed to children. The Android Public edition does not operate an account service or intentionally collect children’s personal information.
13. Your choices
- Choose which local files and folders MusicMall may access.
- Remove an album or Discover content using the relevant in-app action.
- Revoke folder access through Android or remove the source from MusicMall.
- Clear MusicMall storage or uninstall the app to remove app-private data from the device.
- For legacy Google access, revoke the connection in your Google Account.
14. Contact
For privacy questions or deletion assistance, contact [email protected].
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when MusicMall’s functionality or legal obligations change. The effective date will be revised when a material update is published.
